Does nail polish chip off while swimming?

no it does'nt, because yesterday i went swimming and i had nail polish on and it did'nt chip. but if it does happen before you swim put on another coat of nail polish. and heres an even better idea, paint your nails(if you did'nt paint them yet), after your done swimming.
Yes. Sometimes it does, believe it or not sometimes it depends on the brand that you buy. How I prevent it is putting 2 coats of clear and nail strengthener on it. My nails haven't chipped since. No lie!
Yes, too long in water its chips off... put a coating its called Nail coater you can find in the stores
yes it does......and i dont think you can...umm just repaint it...im not a nail person soo idk...but id repaint it or not get it soo went as much as you do.....( does that make sense? )

im not sure that it is a fact , but i noticed that too . whenever i come home from the beach/pool , my poor toenail have chipped polish ()___()
You could try putting an extra layer of clear polish over your nails before going in to prevent your color from chipping off.
Try not to hit your fingernails on any surface. It will eventually chip off anyway.
probrbly cuz the chemicals or other things in the water... put on a clear protective coat tht helps the color last longer...
