I mean it dries on your nails but why not in the bottle.

Because the bottle has the liquid all there and on our nails, there is only a thin layer. Keep nail polish in the fridge. It last longer.
Because it is not exposed to air which dries it out.
It has a lid.. so the polish isn't exposed to the air which would dry it out.
nope ..it would dry if you left the cap off
