U should only add a little like a couple of drops of nail polish remover in it. This may change the polish so be careful with how much. yes, the nail polish remover does work.
i think you can add a few drops of nail polish remover to it....i've never actually tried it but i have read that in magazines.
you can purchase nail polish thinner--thats the only thing i would use to thin out the polish





acetone (polish remover) does not work well to thin polish





also, if the polish is thick, its probably old - or has been exposed to heat.... the polish wont dry well, and could possibly stain your nails..





its better just to throw it away and buy a new bottle





ps... do not use water, do not use alcohol... both will ruin the polish.... well, come to think of it, the polish is ALREADY ruined so no big deal
you could trying mixing in some clear nail polish.
You can add a bit of nail polish remover to it and it will thin it a bit but not too much because it will dull the color. The best thing to do is store your nail polishes in the refrigerator. It will keep them from getting thick for years.
You can add nail polish remover to it, but sometimes that will dull a frosted polish, or cause the polish (frosted or matte) to not stick to your nails as well.





Usually when my polish gets to that point, I toss it.

adding nail polish remover may make your nail polish explode and spill everywhere. that's why they have ';nail polish thinner';! um, dah...

add a few drops of non-aceton polish remover if you have acrylic nails it won't melt them..............add aceton if using on your own nails
