How do you keep nail polish from chipping after one day?

you need to use top coat.. %26amp; before you polish use alcohol on cotton swab this gets all oil out of nails... %26amp; when using top coat brush- along edge of nail-- to seal in polish should be fine for 5 days... until drastic-- chipping! You can use base coat which helps adhere better... but alcohol will help first do this....:)

%26amp; use good nail poish... I like Opi-from(target), china glaze(sally beauty),

or sinful- brand (walgreenS)

or you can go get a manicure at local nail shop %26amp; watch how they do it %26amp; you can purchase the products.... to ensure the best manicure--- maybe 15$- but atleast you will know exactly how to do it.. watching...

The best way to prevent chipping is to apply a bonder as a base coat. The bonder creates a better adhesion between your nail and the polish. It's better than a base coat and you can buy it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Do two layers of polish making sure you give it plenty of time to dry between each layer. With the second coat of polish make sure you go straight across the edge/tip/end of the nail. Then apply a top coat and you're good! How do you keep nail polish from chipping after one day?
I find that the shorter the nails the less they chip. I personally like short nails, but if you don't like to go short, try to get a high quality nail polish or a top or bottom coat clear nail polish.

Good Luck!
