I have naturally blonde hair, and i dyed it dark brown about 6 months ago, and it was supposed to fade out, but didn't. I want to lighten it and/or get rid of the dye without actually dying it a lighter color.Will Nail Polish Remover Remove Hair Dye from my hair?

OMG! do not put nail polish remover on your hair!!! dying your blonde hair dark brown is pretty rough for your hair but it can be fixed. you should go to a good salon and have them put a toner on your hair. then have thick blonde highlights done with bleach instead of color. when it starts to grow out, you should start to see your natural color come back with out the dramatic roots that you would have if you left it dark. good luck!
You really should go to a salon and get a professional to lighten it for you before trying something on your own - and then having to go to a professional later on. You'll end up paying more and causing more damage to your hair if you try something on your own first.
